back to work..

At last, i'm finally starting work tmr. The week's break was definitely longer than what i really needed. I've come to realise that i enjoy being busy actually, at least i feel that i am doing something worthwhile. Well, i'm commencing work tmr at IRAS at the call centre, much thanks to sihui who helped me secure the job.

Last week started off real slowly, basically just stayed at home catching up on sleep and settling some of the usual stuff.

Decided to join cheryl and her friend, janice at phuture on wed night together with yao guang. Was hanging out with eileen, yvonne and their friends for awhile before joining cheryl and janice, too bad they came too late and couldn't get into phuture. We stayed till almost 4, and by then we were all pretty exhausted and rather high. But nonetheless we all had a pretty fun time letting loose after so long. I almost got into a fight earlier on thou. lol.

Woke up on thurs feeling rather .. well let's just say i've had better days. Was suppose to meet ty at 4.30 but i kinda fell asleep in the afternoon and woke up at 4.30. oops, haha. Meeting up with ty is like meeting up with my relatives, it only happens every few months. like seriously. But it was good to see him again after so long. Gerald came to meet us after work and we went to catch Watchmen. I really didn't expect the movie to be so long, felt that it got a little draggy after a while but overall, it was a pretty good. We were all wondering why Dr Manhattan had to be naked throughout 90% of the movie thou.

Fri was just a casual outing with bern, cheryl and cliff at raffles city. Lunch was at Aerins, followed by shopping and loads of camwhoring. Seriously, cheryl is the biggest camwhore ever. my inner camwhore has been brought out by her. Quite hilarious thou, cliff was inside G2000 trying clothes out while the 3 of us were snap snap snapping away outside the shop. Saw some nice wallets and watches at Agnes B. but alas, they are wayyy too expensive.

Going out with them always make me feel so inexperienced since im the youngest but its always so insightful to hear their "life stories". ha. Cheryl is such a business savvy woman and a globetrotter, always travelling the world while cliff seems so grounded and Bern is just slacking off! haha!

And then came saturday, where i met up with my sji friends and there were shockingly, 7 of us present - kl, zb, cw, ty, ger, me and jeremy. The last time where there were so many of us was probably quite a few years back during our weekly lan outings when we needed the numbers. The atmosphere was rather um.. interesting, to say the least. We went over to bukit timah plaza to play lan, tried out left4dead. It was pretty fun, there were the usual screams and mad orgasams. People leaving each other to die, people trying to ks each other and the usual bitchy stuff. Haha, just like old times eh.

All these outings made me realise how rarely i meet up with my JC mates. I hardly ever see them nowadays, especially the gals like anitha and yawen and even kelly. I haven't seen yawen since god knows when man. Hopefully the meetup will be successful this sat.

Anyway, i'm looking forward to work tmr. Maybe i'll meet some interesting and nice people again. haha.
